Researched and taught in plant ecology with a focus on metapopulation dynamics, diversity and Conservation Biology. Bryophytes have always been my main focus.
After retirement I have been working with identifying my backload of specimens from various field work projects and collection trips.
I am involved in the Early Land Plants Today project aiming to unify taxonomy, nomenclature and distribution globally of liverworts and hornworts.
